Neohori, in the Pelion, is a new and blooming region for tourism that has developed rapidly in recent years, although in different rhythms. While the nearby Afissos, to the South and on the coast, has developed as one of the largest tourist centres in the Pelion, the charming Neohori and other neighbouring centres of strong tourist potential still remains almost untouched waiting to be unveiled.
Summer visitors, that come in large numbers to the Pagasitikos gulf area, will find new options in the adjacent low and full of humanity (and mystery) mountains in the vicinity, where Neohori appears as a piece of jewellery full of enchantment.
Neohori gives access to the Aegean seaside through a large forested region. Here the environment is respected, displaying a rich flora and fauna scattered in one of the largest conifer forests in Greece. Small roads and old paths appear as a paradise for walkers.
